Trump Curse? Avenatti to Lose Ferrari, Pay $160k/Month in Divorce Settlement

You’ll recall, Avenatti was recently arrested for domestic abuse.

He took another blow, as KTLA 5 reported that Avenatti has to $4.85 million to an attorney who worked at his former law firm, a California judge ruled Monday in an order that holds the potential presidential candidate personally liable in a lawsuit over back pay.

Avenatti’s office was also recently evicted after being months behind in rent.

Now, we’re learning that he will be forced to pay 160K per month in his divorce settlement, and lose his prized sports car.

The Inquistr reported that Avenatti, the California lawyer representing Donald Trump accuser Stormy Daniels, will have to sell off some of his more higher-priced possessions in order to raise money to make right a $2 million divorce settlement, Business Insider is reporting.

Avenatti, a former professional race-car driver, is mired in a divorce from his second wife Lisa Storie Avenatti, who filed for divorce from him in 2017.

And according to court documents obtained by TMZ, that divorce is costing him millions. He’s been ordered to pay $37,897 per month in child support for their preschool-aged son, retroactive to January 1, 2018. He’s also been ordered to pay spousal support of $124,398 per month, retroactive to January 2018. Collectively, that adds up to about $2 million.

Michael Avenatti, the anti-Trump attorney best known for representing porn star Stormy Daniels, will be forking over millions of dollars in cash and assets as part of a divorce settlement with his estranged wife.

Court filings obtained by TMZ state that a judge in Orange County, California, ordered Avenatti to pay $162,295 per month—amounting to $1.9 million upfront—in child support and spousal support to Lisa Storie-Avenatti.

The settlement not only required Avenatti to cough up money for child and spousal support, but also required the left-wing lawyer to give up material possessions—including a 2017 Ferrari 488 GT Spider valued at $300,000, luxury wristwatches with an estimated $50,000 price tag, and high-priced works of art.

Avenatti, who had been married since 2011, separated from his wife in December 2017.

The left-wing lawyer and one-time 2020 presidential hopeful had several setbacks over the past few months, causing him to quash his presidential aspirations.

In November, Avenatti was arrested in connection with an alleged domestic violence dispute, and in the same month, a judge served an eviction notice to Avenatti’s law firm, Eagan Avenatti, for skipping out on $213,000 in rent over four months.
